Omega’s White Ceramic Diver Returns — Now With a Paralympic Twist
Swiss watchmaker Omega continues its long-standing relationship with the Olympic movement with the release of a new special edition created for the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Paralympic Games. The watch is based on the modern Seamaster Diver 300M and introduces a striking monochromatic aesthetic inspired by winter landscapes, while incorporating subtle design references to the Paralympic event.

Omega has served as the Official Timekeeper of the Olympic Games since the 1932 Los Angeles Olympic Games and has also been responsible for timekeeping at the Paralympics since 1992. To celebrate the upcoming Winter Paralympics in Italy, the brand presents a distinctive interpretation of its iconic dive watch, combining advanced materials with details that reflect the spirit of the Games.
A Winter-Inspired Ceramic Case
The watch immediately stands out thanks to its all-white appearance. The 43.50 mm case is crafted primarily from white zirconium oxide ceramic, a material known for its durability and resistance to scratches. The case features a mix of satin-brushed and polished finishes that emphasize the sculpted lines of the Seamaster Diver 300M design.

In terms of proportions, the watch measures 43.50 mm in diameter, with a lug-to-lug length of 51.50 mm and a thickness of 14.37 mm, making it slightly larger than the standard stainless steel version of the model.
The scalloped bezel is made from Grade 5 titanium and fitted with a white ceramic insert that features a textured surface reminiscent of snow. The diving scale is presented through raised polished markings that contrast with the matte texture of the insert, ensuring good legibility.
Both the screw-down crown at 3 o’clock and the helium escape valve positioned at 10 o’clock are also crafted from Grade 5 titanium. The same material is used for the solid screw-down caseback, which features a stamped commemorative emblem for the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Paralympic Games together with the Paralympic symbol known as the Agitos.
Textured Ceramic Dial
The winter theme continues on the dial, which is also made from white ceramic. It features a frosted pattern created using laser engraving, giving the surface an appearance reminiscent of ice. Running across the dial is a subtle zig-zag motif inspired by the stylized “26” used in the Milano Cortina 2026 event logo.

All printed text appears in a cool blue tone, providing contrast against the white background and enhancing readability. The applied hour markers and skeletonized hands are rhodium-plated and filled with white Super-LumiNova, allowing the watch to remain highly legible in low-light conditions.
One of the most distinctive details is the central seconds hand. Unlike the Olympic version released earlier, this edition features a multicolored varnished seconds hand with a gradient that starts with green at the counterweight, transitions into blue, and ends with red at the tip. These three colors reference the Paralympic Agitos symbol and were chosen because they are among the most widely used colors in national flags around the world.
Rubber Strap and Diving Capabilities
The watch is paired with an integrated white rubber strap that reinforces the clean and sporty aesthetic of the design. It is secured with a Grade 5 titanium pin buckle, matching the other titanium components of the watch.

As part of the Seamaster Diver 300M collection, the model maintains its professional diving credentials. It offers water resistance up to 300 meters and features both a screw-down crown and a helium escape valve, ensuring xreliability even in demanding underwater environments.
Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806
Powering the watch is the Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806, a self-winding movement used in the no-date versions of the Seamaster Diver 300M.

The movement is certified by METAS under the Master Chronometer standard, which guarantees a high level of precision, performance, and resistance to magnetic fields. It incorporates the brand’s Co-Axial escapement and is resistant to magnetic fields of up to 15,000 gauss. The movement also features a free-sprung balance with a silicon balance spring and offers a power reserve of approximately 55 hours.
Presentation, Availability and Price
The watch is delivered in a special presentation box that features the logo of the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Paralympic Games, highlighting its commemorative nature.
Although it is not a numbered limited edition, production is expected to remain closely tied to the 2026 Paralympic Games. The Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympics Edition is priced at around € 10,500 and is available through Omega boutiques and authorized retailers.
Our Take
I must confess that the Milano Cortina 2026 edition presented in January was not particularly captivating. Its overly monochromatic look, combined with an oversized case, left me somewhat disappointed—something many of our readers already know tends to happen given my preference for more moderately sized watches.
But that wasn’t the only issue. Something felt missing, and that is exactly what this new sibling version brings to the table. The addition of a colored seconds hand may seem like a small change, yet it transforms the overall presence of the watch. While the exaggerated case size remains, this simple detail adds the visual contrast the design previously lacked.
It serves as a good reminder that, in watchmaking, the difference often lies in the smallest details. In our opinion, that subtle touch is enough to make the Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympics Edition far more attractive and appealing than the somewhat bland Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Milano Cortina 2026 Olympics Edition introduced a few months earlier.
