Omega Presents Two New Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch Two-Tones
Having exhausted the steel versions and its entire arsenal of precious material alloys, Omega now introduces two new Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch in two tones, the Steel-Moonshine and the Steel-Sedna.
While it is not an absolute debut for the brand, as 41 years ago it presented the first Moonwatch in steel and gold, today this combination of materials returns but this time in two distinct variants, one in steel and yellow gold and the other in steel and rose gold, or if we want to be specific in Moonshine and Sedna the gold alloys owned by the brand.
The new timepieces don’t bring anything new beyond what we had already seen in March with the arrival of the new Moonwatch with a white lacquer dial. In short, it returns to the 42mm by 13.20mm case that comes with wide bevels on the lugs, tachymeter bezel, sapphire glass on both sides and 50m water resistance. On the dial, the three traditional registers at 3-6-9 o’clock, applied hour markers, logo and hands and black prints. At its heart lies the 26-jewel Master Chronometer-certified Co-Axial Caliber 3861 that runs 21,600 Vph and offers 50 hours of power reserve.
The two new Speedmasters feature a stainless steel case and gold crown, pushers and bezel (which do not include the black ceramic insert), as are the central links of the bracelet.
The Steel-Moonshine comes with a silvery-white dial with a sunray finish, gold-tone counters, and Moonshine gold-applied hour markers, hands, and the brand’s logo. The Steel-Sedna present a Sedna-gold tone dial with a brushed finish, black registers, hour markers, hands and the brand’s signature in Sedna gold.
The watches come attached to the usual five-row tapered bracelet with a folding clasp with a price tag of €21,000.
