Omega Presents the Third Generation of De Ville Prestige Collection
After yesterday, Omega announced its two most recent stars, Omega Chrono Chime, which we had the opportunity to talk about here, if you want to know more, we leave the link here, the Swiss brand introduce now to six new watches from its De Ville Prestige collection that signal the arrival of the third generation.
The new De Ville Prestige bring some new features and among them, there are two exciting ones, the first is that from now on all watches with mechanical movement within the collection will be Master Chronometer certified and the second is the slimming of the thickness.
The six new additions to the collection come in five different sizes, 41, 40, 34, 30 and 27.5mm in diameter.
And starting from the biggest to the smallest, we have the De Ville Prestige 41mm that comes with a stainless steel case and domed PVD sky blue dial with the new 2-in-1 brand finish, which combines a random vertical pattern and a radiant sun-brushing, railway minute track, silver applied Roman numerals and leaf hands, a trapeze-shaped date window at 6 o’clock, a discreet small seconds at 9 o’clock and a 270º power reserve indicator at 6 o’clock. The watch comes with a blue leather strap and inside, it is equipped with the Caliber 8810 automatic movement that operates at 25,200 Vph and offers up to 55 hours of power reserve.
The other addition to the collection in 41mm, comes in a Sedna Gold case, and here we take the opportunity to mention another novelty which is the replacement in the collection of the previous red gold by Sedna Gold. This new entry comes with the domed PVD blue dial with a sun-brushed finish, applied Roman numerals and leaf hands matching the case, a date window at 3 o’clock and small seconds at 6 o’clock. The watch is offered with a blue leather strap and inside it comes with the Caliber 8802 with exactly the same frequency and power reserve as the previous model.
The De Ville Prestige 40mm is the first of two that combine a stainless steel case with gold, in this case, Sedna Gold, and which comes with a domed silvery dial featuring a crystal finish, and like the two 41mm models it displays applied Roman numerals and leaf hands, here golden, a seconds hand in centre and date window at 6 o’clock. This model comes with a steel and Sedna Gold bracelet with 7 links and a butterfly clasp, which replaces the previous sliding clasps. Inside, it features the Caliber 8800 automatic movement with the same technical data as the 41mm models.
As for the more moderate sizes, we have a new De Ville Prestige 34mm, which comes with a stainless steel case and a PVD lavender dial, another with the new 2-in-1 finish we talked about above, and which combines applied Roman numerals and diamond hour markers, round date aperture at 6 o’clock and three central hands. The watch comes with a bright blue leather strap and inside, it has the same movement as the 40mm De Ville Prestige.
The second two-tone addition is the 30mm De Ville Prestige, which combines a stainless steel case with yellow gold, a silvery dial featuring a crystal finish, applied Roman numerals and two central hands in gold and an inner dotted minute track. Like the other two-tone model, it comes with a bracelet matching the case with 7 links and a butterfly clasp. Inside, the Caliber 4061 quartz movement operates.
Finally, we have the 27.5mm De Ville Prestige which is by far the most sumptuous of the six additions and comes in an 18K Sedna Gold case with a paved diamond bezel. On the white mother-of-pearl dial, we can find two central hands and applied Roman numerals and diamond hour markers. This model also comes with a 7-link Sedna Gold bracelet. Like the new 30mm model, it comes with a Caliber 4061 quartz movement.
