Ochs und Junior Introduces Luna Sole Silver Edition With Blue Patina Dial
After the Luna Sole editions in titanium, Ochs und Junior now has a silver edition with a blue patina dial.
The watch, which remains faithful to the minimalist design of the Bauhaus school like previous editions, is presented in a round case with a dial with two hands, 31 cut-outs and a moon phases indicator.
On the outside we find a silver 925 case measuring 40mm in diameter and just 9mm thick, which features sapphire glass, screw-down crown and 100m water resistance.
The blue patina dial comes with white gold leaf details, with two centre hands assigned to the hours and minutes that work in partnership with the 7 baton hour markers including the double one at noon, 31 cut-outs around it that are part of the Month Date Display and which provides the date and a moon phase indicator provided by a system of six discs including the dial, which makes the solar disc operate a complete rotation every 24 hours makes the sun position in the top at noon and bottom at midnight, with the moon needing 29.5 days to make the same 360º rotation.
At its heart, the ETA 2892-A2 automatic movement runs 28,800 Vph and offers up to 42 hours of power reserve.
The watch was launched at “Ferragosto” on August 15th, the day of the Assumption of Mary (Christian holiday), attached to a grey Ecopell leather strap priced CHF 8,500 plus taxes.
