Norqain’s newest chronograph, the Freedom 60 Chrono 40 mm Enjoy Life Special Edition, introduces a playful and summery aesthetic while staying true to the brand’s commitment to quality and detail. This new model injects color and optimism into a classic chronograph platform, making it one of the most distinctive seasonal releases this year.

A Lively Twist on a Proven Platform

The Freedom 60 Chrono line has long been appreciated for its blend of vintage-inspired styling and modern performance. In this limited-edition version, Norqain brings a splash of personality to the familiar 40mm stainless steel case, adding thematic color elements and cheerful touches that set it apart.

The dial features a crisp matte white base, providing high contrast for the trio of pastel-colored sub-dials — blue, pink, and green — that bring visual dynamism to the watch. These tones extend beyond simple decoration; each is carefully matched with corresponding segments of the outer tachymeter scale, creating an intuitive and symmetrical design that balances playful flair with functional legibility.

Functionality with a Sense of Fun

One of the most creative details lies in the date display at 4:30. While this placement is a signature element of the Freedom 60 Chrono, Norqain has added a unique twist: on five dates each month — specifically the 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th — the traditional numeral is replaced with a small ice cream cone icon. This small graphical flourish subtly emphasizes the edition’s Enjoy Life message, without compromising the overall clarity of the display.

The 40 mm stainless steel case is polished throughout, including the smooth bezel and curved lugs, and features Norqain’s characteristic plate screwed into the left side of the case. With a thickness of 14.90 mm and a water resistance rating of 100 meters, the watch is robust enough for casual aquatic activity while remaining wearable and comfortable for daily use. Mushroom-style chronograph pushers contribute to the watch’s vintage aesthetic, while maintaining modern usability.

Inside, the watch is powered by the Norqain Caliber N19, based on the reliable Sellita SW510 movement. The caseback features a sapphire crystal printed with a multicolored ice cream cone and the phrase “Enjoy Life”. While this obscures part of the view of the movement, it reinforces the watch’s identity and playful spirit. Rather than offering additional straps, Norqain includes a practical and stylish bonus — a pair of branded sunglasses, further enhancing the watch’s appeal as a summer-ready companion.

The Freedom 60 Chrono Enjoy Life Special Edition is available in three different configurations. It can be purchased with a white rubber strap featuring Norqain’s signature stitching and either a pin buckle or a folding clasp. The model with a stainless steel bracelet is priced at € 4,750, while the rubber strap variant with a folding clasp is available for € 4,800.
