Norqain continues to push the boundaries of performance-oriented watchmaking with its latest release, the Wild One Skeleton Purple. Combining advanced materials, shock resistance, and a striking colorway, this limited edition timepiece demonstrates why the Wild One has become the brand’s flagship sports watch.

High-Performance Case Construction

At the heart of the watch is Norqain’s proprietary Norteq carbon fibre composite, a material engineered to be both resilient and remarkably light. This forms the external case cage, which is further reinforced by a sandblasted titanium container that houses the movement. Between these layers lies a purple rubber shock absorber.

The 42 mm case measures 12.30 mm in thickness and is water-resistant to 200 metres, ensuring it is ready for demanding environments. Additional protection comes from lateral bumpers and a screw-down crown with black rubber coating, safeguarded by purple rubber crown guards. As with all Norqain models, the customisable side plate offers owners a personal touch.

Bold Aesthetics in Purple and Black

The new colorway gives the Wild One Skeleton an unmistakable presence. The matte black carbon fibre cage is contrasted by vivid purple details: the rubber shock absorber, the strap with purple mesh insert, the bezel’s purple frame, and the crown guards. The combination delivers a dynamic, sporty appearance without compromising function.

Skeletonised Dial and Movement

The openworked design highlights the skeletonised bridges, treated in matte black to enhance legibility and depth. Around the periphery, the minute track and flange are accented with light purple markings, complemented by diamond-cut indices tipped with Super-LumiNova. The hands also carry luminous inserts, ensuring excellent readability in low light. A purple-accented central seconds hand completes the dial’s cohesive look.

Precision Inside

Driving the watch is the calibre NB08S, based on the Sellita SW200-1. The automatic movement is COSC-certified, offering chronometer-grade accuracy. It runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour and provides a 41-hour power reserve. Through the skeleton architecture, the personalised rotor is visible, underlining the technical craftsmanship.

The Norqain Wild One Skeleton Purple is a limited edition of 400 pieces worldwide. Priced at € 5,550, it delivers a blend of cutting-edge materials, Swiss precision, and a bold design language that sets it apart in the competitive sports watch segment.
