Norqain Presents Two New Limited Edition Adventure Sport Chronos
Norqain has just expanded its Adventure collection with two new limited edition chronographs, a more robust one with an eye-catching turquoise dial and a more compact one with a green dial.
The new Norqain Adventure Sport Chrono 44mm comes with a cervlean blue dial, so called by the brand, and which produces an interesting contrast with the black case thanks to its DLC coated.
On the outside, the chunkie watch measures 44mm wide, 16mm tall and 52mm lug-to-lug distance, double-domed sapphire crystal, unidirectional bezel with pip lume at 12 o’clock which, like the case, comes with a DLC coating, screw- down crown at 3 o’clock and two chrono pushers, while on the opposite side we can find the traditional plate that can be customized by the buyer, open case back and 100m of water resistance.
The turquoise dial comes with the brand’s pattern inspired by the Swiss mountains, tri-compax layout consisting of a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock, a 12-hour register at 6 and a running seconds at 9 all in black. Faceted hour markers and hands all filled with X1 Super-LumiNova, a date window at 4:30 with the background in the same tone as the dial and a chrono center seconds hand with a triangle-shaped tip outlined in red and which also comes with luminescent material.
Then we have the new Norqain Adventure Sport Chrono Day/Date 41mm which comes in a mainly brushed stainless steel case with dimensions of 15mm thick and 48.90mm of distance between lugs, to which is added an 18k red gold bezel with aluminum black insert and gold accents, featuring the same customized plate on the left side, screw-down crown flanked by two pushers on the right, sapphire glass on the front and back and 100m of water resistance.
On the dial the same textured background here in green tones, also with three registers but in a different arrangement with the 30-minute counter traveling to the noon position and the 3 o’clock being filled with a double day-date window with a black background like the counters. Finally, red gold plated hour markers and hands filled with the same luminescent material described above matching the register rings and hands.
Inside, the cornographs come with similar automatic movements, with the first coming equipped with Caliber N19 based on the Sellita SW510 and the second with Caliber N17 based on the Sellita SW500, which operate at 28,800 Vph and offer up to 62 hours of power reserve.
The chronographs arrive attached to a black rubber strap with a pin buckle or a stainless steel bracelet matching the case with a folding clasp.
The Adventure Sport Chrono 44mm is limited to 300 pieces and priced at €4,250 and €4,800 for the rubber strap and steel bracelet options respectively, while the Adventure Sport Chrono Day/Date 41mm is restricted to 100 pieces with prices ranging from €4,950 for the rubber strap option and €5,280 for the steel bracelet.
