Norqain expands its Freedom collection with one of its most cheerful and unconventional creations to date. The new Freedom GMT Enjoy Life “Holiday” Limited Edition combines the practicality of a true GMT complication with a vibrant travel-inspired design, celebrating exploration, leisure, and memorable adventures rather than business trips.

Limited to just 500 pieces, the watch stands out with a playful aesthetic while retaining the robust construction and high-performance movement that have become hallmarks of the Freedom GMT line.

A Familiar Case Built For Adventure

The watch comes in a 40 mm stainless steel case measuring 14.50 mm thick with a 49.30 mm lug-to-lug distance. Its architecture remains unchanged from the standard Freedom GMT, featuring polished and brushed surfaces, a box-shaped sapphire crystal, a screw-down crown, and the signature customizable Norqain plate positioned on the left side of the case.

With 100 meters of water resistance, it is well suited for everyday wear as well as summer holidays and outdoor adventures.

A Dial Inspired By Travel

The highlight of this limited edition is undoubtedly its distinctive dial.

Its matte white background is decorated with a colourful world map accompanied by numerous travel-themed illustrations scattered across different continents. From iconic landmarks and wildlife to vacation-related symbols, the artwork encourages the wearer to embrace the joy of discovering new destinations. Even a shark fin near the 5 o’clock position adds a humorous reminder that not every holiday surprise is welcome.

Surrounding the dial is a multi-coloured 24-hour GMT scale, replacing the traditional day-night indication with references to different moments of the day, including Happy Hour, coffee time, and sleep, each represented by dedicated icons.

The second time zone is indicated by a turquoise GMT hand, while the rhodium-plated applied hour markers and faceted hands receive white Super-LumiNova to ensure excellent legibility in low-light conditions.

Another charming detail appears in the date window at 6 o’clock, where a holiday icon replaces the date every seventh day, serving as a subtle reminder to take time off and enjoy life.

Kenissi-Powered True GMT Movement

Powering the watch is the Norqain Manufacture Calibre NN20/2, produced in partnership with Kenissi.

The automatic movement is COSC-certified and features a true GMT function, allowing the local hour hand to be adjusted independently in one-hour increments when crossing time zones. The date is synchronized with the local hour hand, moving both forwards and backwards without interrupting the movement’s operation.

Running at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), the calibre delivers an impressive 70-hour power reserve.

Visible through the sapphire exhibition caseback, the movement features the engraved words “Adventure, Freedom, Independence” on one of its bridges, while the rotor is signed by Norqain. The caseback also carries the “Enjoy Life” logo together with the “One of 500” engraving identifying each limited-edition piece.

Bracelet And Strap Options

The Freedom GMT Enjoy Life “Holiday” can be ordered with either a stainless steel bracelet or a white rubber strap, allowing buyers to choose between a sportier or more casual summer-ready look.

Adding an extra layer of excitement, Norqain has hidden a Golden Ticket inside one of the 500 watches produced. The fortunate owner will receive a holiday for two at the Ayada Maldives Resort, perfectly matching the carefree spirit behind this special edition.
