Norqain Expands Neverest Glacier Line With Two New Models In Black And Gold
After the version in white and simple time function, Norqain now offers two new Neverest Glacier in black and gold tones, one with the time function and another that adds a second time zone and date.
Like the previous version, its textured dial is inspired by the crevasses of the Khumbo Icefall on Mt. Everest, but in the first edition, the white tones of the dial made clear the similarities with the icy surfaces of the Khumbo, in these two variants the darkened dials in black and anthracite tones illustrated with golden slits take us to a scenario more similar to a volcano with lava.
As far as the layout is concerned, there is nothing new with the model with the time function following the configuration of the other Neverest models and the same applies to the model with a second time zone following the same tracks as its Neverest GMT peers.
Thus, the new Norqain Neverest Glacier comes in a 40mm diameter and 12.55mm thick stainless steel case with a unidirectional ceramic diving bezel, sapphire glass front and back, screw-down crown and 200m of water resistance. The black dial matches the tone of the bezel and comes with applied golden hour markers and hands all filled with Super-LumiNova X1 and a centre seconds hand with a red arrow-shaped tip. Inside it comes equipped with the automatic movement Caliber NN20/1 which is COSC certified operating at 28,800 Vph and offering up to 70 hours of power reserve.
While the Norqain Neverest Glacier GMT sports a 41mm by 14.94mm stainless steel case equipped with a bidirectional 24-hour bezel, double-sided sapphire glass, crown at 3 o’clock with crown guards and 100m of water resistance. The dial here in anthracite tones in addition to the 24-hour bicolour chapter ring comes with the same configuration as the simple time version which adds a date window at 3 o’clock and an extra central hand GMT with a red arrow-shape tip. Here it is the Caliber NN20/2 GMT COSC certified that operates with the same characteristics announced above as the Caliber NN20/1.
Both watches can be purchased with a three-link bracelet with a folding clasp or with a black rubber strap, with prices ranging from €3,650 to €3,980 for the new Neverest Glacier and €3,950 to €4,280 for the Neverest Glacier GMT, with 10% of proceeds reverting to the Butterfly Help Project.
