Nomos Tangente Wear Now Rose Gold
Nomos continues to celebrate the 175th anniversary of watchmaking in Glashütter and this time it does so in style with the launch of the elegant new Tangente Rose Gold Neomatik.
At the beginning of the season, the German watchmaking brand has shown to be strong with the presentation of interesting novelties, we remember the launch last month of the Metropolitan Glamor Metro 33, and in September of the Club Sport Neomatic 39 in earthy tones, which we talked about here and which you can review it on the links. This latest release, which fits here perfectly, shows that it is not always necessary to reinvent the wheel to capture our attention, and for good reason.
The Tangente model launched in 1991 and therefore with more than three decades of existence, has seen numerous variants over the years, most of them in stainless steel, but it has also seen some releases in yellow gold from time to time, and today it debuts in rose gold.
The watch comes in the classic size of 35mm, wearing a polished 18k rose gold case, measuring 6.90 mm in height, which means 0.70 mm thicker than the steel version due to the automatic movement, and the usual lug-to-lug distance of 45mm. Sapphire crystal on both sides, drilled lugs, fluted crown at 3 o’clock with the brand’s signature and a convenient 30m of water resistance.
On the silvery white dial we can find a salmon or if you prefer rose gold minute chapter ring whose tone also extends to the underneath small seconds at 6 o’clock, printed Arabic numerals in the 2-4-8-10-12 positions and baton hour markers in the remaining positions, and lastly, hands matching the case material.
The open rear case reveals the 3.20mm thick In-house Caliber DUW 3001 Neomatik, which features an accuracy of -4/+6 seconds per day, reaching 21,600 Vph and offering up to 43 hours of power reserve.
The new Tangente, which comes attached to a brown Horween Shell Cordovan leather strap, is a limited edition of 175 pieces that can be purchased for a unit price of €8,600.
