NOMOS Presents Three New Orion Neomatik
Nomos continues to celebrate 175 years of Glashütte Watchmaking and to mark this milestone presents a limited edition with a new Orion Neomatik trio of 175 pieces each.
The new and exclusive Orion Neomatik is presented in a polished stainless steel case in three different sizes, 36mm, 39mm and 41mm. On the outside, the case features the traditional elegant shape of thin lugs, domed sapphire crystal front and back, a fluted crown with the brand’s signature and 30m of water resistance for the smallest version that expands to 50m in the two larger sizes.
And if on the outside the new Orion is distinguished by the elegant lines of the case, on the inside on the dial all the elements converge to the traditional, featuring a white silver-plated dial, golden applied hour markers and tempered blue hands. We can also find a black painting minute track and small seconds (for the first time not in relief) matching the brand’s lettering at 12 o’clock and followed by the gold inscription “Neomatik”. It should also be noted that the larger 41mm version also adds a date window at 3 o’clock, unlike the two smaller sizes where the date complication is omitted.
Inside, the three watches are powered by automatic movements, operated by the Caliber DUW3001 in the 36 and 39mm variants and by the Caliber DUW6101 in the 41mm version. Both movements can be seen through the open case back which, in addition to presenting all the Glashütte features, including a three-quarter plate, Glashütte ribbing and tempered blue screws are individually numbered.
The watches are attached to a black leather strap and can be purchased in the brand’s official boutiques and authorized retailers for the prices of €3,040, €3,180 and €3,500 corresponding to the smallest size for the largest.
