Nomos Presents Ahoi In A New Size And Two New Colors
At a time when many people are already enjoying the summer period, watch brands do not seem to slow down and with that, there are more and more options to dress their wrists this summer. The latest news comes from Glashütte with NOMOS revealing today two new models that will delight anyone looking for simplicity and elegance with the new Ahoi Neomatik 38 Date.
After the 40.3mm and 36.3mm versions, the Ahoi now arrives in the 38.5mm size and as the name implies with a data (large) window.
On the outside, the two new Ahoi maintain the format of the collection betting on the round case with simple lines with straight and angular lugs, with a thickness of 9.9mm and a lug-to-lug distance of 49mm, sapphire glass on both sides, screw-down crown with crown guards and that also comes with a red ring when unscrewed that serves as a warning in case you forget it, and 200m of water resistance.
On the dial, are two new tones, one called “Sky” which comes in shades of blue and another “Sand” which comes with a beige metallic-grained dial. In them, we can find the usual configuration of printed lipstick hour markers and Arabic numerals, a small seconds sub-dial at 6 o’clock with an orange hand, two centre pencil hands filled with luminescent material that we can also find on top of the hour markers, the brand’s lettering printed in black followed by the inscription “neomatik” in gold and finally the novelty already unveiled above, a window date at 3 o’clock that does not go unnoticed due to its size and which is presented with the same background as the dial.
Equipped with an automatic movement Caliber DUW 6101, which operates at 21,600 Vph and offers up to 42 hours of power reserve.
The watches are attached to a textile strap in dark blue for the Sky version and grey for the Sand version and each one can be purchased for €3,520.
