NOMOS Minimatik 39 Date: Sleek Design Meets Refined Details
NOMOS Glashütte welcomes spring with the launch of the new Minimatik 39 Date collection, a sophisticated line of timepieces featuring a refined 39mm case and three elegant dial variations. Designed with a minimalist aesthetic and equipped with small seconds and date complications, this latest release stands out for its attention to detail, particularly the gold-framed date window that enhances the overall design.

The collection includes the NOMOS Minimatik 39 Date, featuring a classic white dial with rhodium-plated hands, the Minimatik 39 Date Gold, which also boasts a white dial but with gold-plated hands for a touch of warmth, and the Minimatik 39 Date Blue, a striking model that combines a navy blue dial with rhodium-plated hands for a bold yet understated look.

Encased in a polished stainless steel case measuring 39.50mm in diameter, 7.50mm in thickness, and 47.70mm in length, the new Minimatik models reflect NOMOS’ signature clean lines and elegant proportions. A domed sapphire crystal enhances the clarity of the dial, while sculpted lugs, a smooth thin bezel, and a fluted crown at 3 o’clock with the brand’s signature complete the refined aesthetic. The open case back allows a view of the intricate movement, and with 50 meters of water resistance, the watch remains practical for everyday wear.

The dial layout follows the minimalist philosophy that defines NOMOS, featuring printed Arabic numerals at 2, 4, 8, 10, and 12 o’clock, while dot markers fill the remaining positions. The date window at 3 o’clock is distinguished by its gold chamfers, adding a luxurious touch, while the small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock provides balance. Two slender center hands ensure excellent legibility, and the brand’s logo at noon further enhances the clean aesthetic.

Powering the new Minimatik 39 Date models is the hand-wound Caliber DUW 4601, a movement introduced in late 2024. With an ultra-thin 2.80mm profile, this precision-engineered caliber is fitted with 23 jewels, operates at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, and delivers an impressive 52-hour power reserve.

Each watch in the collection is paired with a Horween genuine shell Cordovan leather strap, secured with a stainless steel signed pin buckle, offering both durability and comfort. The NOMOS Minimatik 39 Date collection is available now, priced at €2,680, making it an attractive option for those who appreciate German watchmaking excellence combined with refined aesthetics.
