Nodus Expands Sector II Collection With Titanium ‘Tropical’ Edition

Nodus has expanded its lineup with the release of the Sector II Field Titanium “Tropical”, a limited-edition field watch that combines lightweight materials, rugged coatings, and a distinctive military-inspired design.

Case and Finish

The watch is crafted from Grade 2 titanium, chosen for its strength-to-weight ratio and comfortable wearability. Measuring 38 mm in diameter and 11.70 mm in thickness, it maintains a compact profile suited for daily use or outdoor activity. To enhance durability, the case is finished with an olive-green Cerakote coating, giving it a matte, tactical appearance. In contrast, the crown and caseback are left untreated, showing the natural titanium finish.

Legibility and Lume

The tropical dial maintains the utilitarian nature of a field watch with bold markers and hands treated with Super-LumiNova BGW9 Grade A lume, ensuring visibility in low-light environments. The display includes central hours, minutes, and seconds. A box-shaped crystal adds dimensionality to the dial while reinforcing the watch’s vintage-inspired field watch character.

Movement and Performance

Inside the Sector II Field Titanium is the reliable Seiko TMI NH38 automatic movement, customized by Nodus to meet tighter accuracy standards of +/- 10 seconds per day. The caliber delivers a 41-hour power reserve and beats at 21,600 vibrations per hour (3 Hz).

Strap and Construction

Adding to its rugged aesthetic, the watch comes paired with a Disruptive Pattern Material (DPM) camouflage strap, constructed on a rubber base with a Hybrid TecTuff coating for added resistance against wear. This combination ensures both comfort and resilience in challenging conditions.
