Nezumi Unveils Third-Generation Aviera GMT Collection

Stockholm-based watchmaker Nezumi has introduced the third generation of its Aviera GMT—a trio of timepieces that build on the brand’s reputation for creating modern tool watches with a vintage-inspired flair. This latest release includes one core model and two fresh limited editions, offering updated ergonomics, reworked materials, and refined aesthetics.

The most notable evolution lies in the construction of the case and crystal. While the case diameter remains 40mm, Nezumi has reduced the bezel size to 39 mm, subtly shifting the watch’s visual proportions and enhancing its wrist presence. The lug-to-lug distance is still 47 mm, but the case thickness has been slightly slimmed down. The new Aviera now measures 11.35 mm thick—down from 12mm in the previous iteration—and is topped by a vintage-inspired 1.95 mm domed sapphire crystal. The result is a sleeker profile at 13.30 mm total thickness, providing a more refined and comfortable wearing experience.

Inside, all three models are powered by the reliable Miyota 9075 automatic GMT movement, a true travel-ready caliber with a flyer-style independently adjustable local hour hand. Operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, the movement provides a 42-hour power reserve. Though the stated accuracy is -10 to +30 seconds per day, Nezumi has historically demonstrated an ability to regulate the movement well for enhanced performance.

The core model (reference AA3.102) continues the familiar Aviera design language with a stainless steel case and fixed steel bezel engraved with a 24-hour GMT scale. It features a matte black dial with cream-colored Arabic numerals and markers, complemented by syringe-style hands filled with cream lume that emits a soft blue glow. The GMT hand stands out with its oversized arrow tip and yellow lume, glowing green in low light. This model is paired with Nezumi’s five-link Colin 2.2 Jubilee-style bracelet, which includes a toolless micro-adjustment clasp for quick and precise sizing.

The first of the two limited editions (reference AA3.302) introduces a bold new character to the lineup with a full-lume cream-colored dial, black printed numerals, and a skeletonized handset. The off-white Malta FKM rubber strap it comes on echoes the dial’s tone for a cohesive look, while the fully luminescent dial glows an appealing shade of blue in the dark—offering both high visibility and unique aesthetic appeal.

The second limited edition (reference AA3.133) goes in a different direction with a stealthy black DLC-coated case and bezel. The GMT scale on the bezel is engraved and highlighted in green, a color mirrored in the GMT hand and the depth rating on the dial. While it shares the same matte black dial layout as the regular-production model, these green accents lend the watch a distinctive, modern edge. It comes mounted on a matching green Malta rubber strap with a black buckle.

Each of the two limited editions is produced in a run of 300 pieces. While they are not individually numbered, their distinctive styling ensures each piece feels unique in the broader GMT landscape.

All three watches benefit from the thoughtful design tweaks that Nezumi has made—improving wearability, refining proportions, and enhancing visual appeal. Prices for the third-generation Aviera GMT range from € 708 to € 829 depending on the strap or bracelet configuration. The standard model and the limited edition with cream dial are available with a Colin 2.2 bracelet for € 829, a Hunt leather or Juno canvas strap for € 725, or a Malta rubber strap for € 708. The black DLC limited edition is available with a Hunt leather, Juno canvas or Malta rubber strap for the same prices as the other two models.

With its latest Aviera GMTs, Nezumi continues to strike a fine balance between vintage inspiration and contemporary utility. The combination of durable mechanics, practical features, and evolving design makes this third generation one of the most compelling GMT offerings in its price segment.
