Swedish microbrand Nezumi continues to make waves in the watchmaking world with its latest addition, the Tonnerre Monochrome. The Tonnerre Monochrome, named after the French word for thunder, follows the successful release of its predecessor earlier this year, which featured blue and white tones. Housed in a 38mm stainless steel case, the watch boasts a brushed finish and measures 12mm thick with a lug-to-lug length of 45.50mm. A chronograph center seconds hand complements the white-printed minute track and branding at 12 o’clock, with “Tonnerre” prominently displayed at 6 o’clock.
At the heart of the Tonnerre Monochrome is the reliable Seiko VK63 meca-quartz movement, which combines quartz precision with a mechanical chronograph module for a tactile, traditional feel when operating the stopwatch functions.
