New Rowing Blazers x Seiko 5 Sports Rally Diver Debuts In Two Sizes
Three years after their last collaboration, Seiko, Rowing Blazers, and vintage watch specialist Wind Vintage are back with a fresh interpretation of the popular Seiko 5 Sports Rally Diver. The new limited-edition collection introduces two colorful references inspired by the brand’s 1970s sports watches while expanding the lineup with a new compact case size.
Two Sizes, Two Distinct Personalities
The latest Rally Diver collection consists of two versions, each offering its own character.
The larger model features a 42.50 mm stainless steel case paired with a vivid blue dial and matching blue rotating bezel. Alongside it comes a new 38 mm stainless steel version, making the collection more accessible to enthusiasts who prefer smaller watches. This model is distinguished by its rich racing green dial and coordinating bezel.
Both bezels stand out thanks to their eye-catching checkerboard pattern, reinforcing the vintage motorsport inspiration that defines the Rally Diver series.
Familiar Seiko 5 Sports DNA
Despite the new colors and dimensions, both watches retain the signature design elements that have made the Seiko 5 Sports collection so popular.
The dials feature large applied hour markers and broad hands filled with LumiBrite for excellent legibility in low-light conditions. A red-and-white striped central seconds hand adds a playful contrast, while the familiar day-date display at 3 o’clock and the recessed crown positioned at 4 o’clock preserve the classic Seiko sports watch layout.
Branding is shared between the collaborators, with the Seiko 5 Sports logo placed beneath 12 o’clock and the Rowing Blazers logo printed above 6 o’clock.
Exclusive Details
One of the exclusive touches can be found on the exhibition caseback, which showcases a colorful version of Rowing Blazers’ distinctive “Bath Club” logo featuring its recognizable yellow dripping faucet. The caseback also includes Wind Vintage branding, highlighting the three-way collaboration.
Powering both watches is Seiko’s proven Calibre 4R36, an automatic movement offering manual winding, hacking seconds, and a power reserve of approximately 41 hours.
Two Straps Included
Each Rally Diver is delivered with two wearing options.
Alongside the traditional three-link stainless steel bracelet, Seiko also includes a nylon NATO-style strap. Interestingly, the additional strap contrasts with the dial color: the blue dial model receives a green NATO strap, while the green version comes with a blue one, providing owners with two distinct looks straight out of the box.
Limited Production And Price
Production is limited to 2,500 pieces of each version, bringing total availability to 5,000 watches worldwide.
The new Rowing Blazers x Seiko 5 Sports Rally Diver will be released today July 9 and carries a retail price of USD 495, continuing the collaboration’s tradition of offering limited-edition designs at an accessible price point.
