Bremont’s latest release, the Terra Nova 40.5 Date “Caramel,” builds on the brand’s signature blend of refined sport-chic aesthetics and technical precision. Following the success of the gradient anthracite and gradient green editions, this limited-edition timepiece stands out with its warm gradient brown dial that beautifully darkens toward the edges, echoing the rich colour of caramel.
With a nod to 1960s sport-chic watches, the Terra Nova “Caramel” integrates a cushion-shaped stainless steel case that measures 40.5mm in width, 11.11mm in height, and 47mm in length, all while providing durability and style through a mostly brushed finish and angular lugs. A smooth polished bezel frames the dial, protected by sapphire crystal, while the oversized crown at 3 o’clock, engraved with Bremont’s latest logo, enhances the watch’s vintage character. Water-resistant to 100 meters.
The “Caramel” dial is elegantly adorned with beige 3D block Arabic numerals with Super-LumiNova like the indexes and pencil hands, which emit a captivating green glow in low light. A broken railroad minute track and a gold-plated centre seconds hand add subtle detail, while the black-background date window sits discreetly by the crown. Signature elements such as the Bremont logo at noon, “Terra Nova,” “Automatic,” and “London” inscriptions at 6 o’clock complete the sophisticated look.
Inside, the Terra Nova “Caramel” is powered by Bremont’s 26-jewel calibre BE-36AE automatic movement, featuring an Anachron balance wheel and Nivaflex mainspring. Operating at a frequency of 28,800 Vph, this movement provides a power reserve of up to 38 hours.
The watch pairs with either a brown leather strap with white stitching and a steel pin buckle or a robust steel bracelet with a folding clasp, offering versatile wearability.
