New Bremont HMAF Supermarine Features Official Royal Navy Insignia
Bremont continues its longstanding partnership with His Majesty’s Armed Forces (HMAF) with the introduction of the new HMAF Supermarine, a limited-edition dive watch that pays tribute to the British Royal Navy. Joining the latest HMAF collection alongside dedicated Army and Royal Air Force models, the new Supermarine stands out with its military-inspired aesthetics and official Royal Navy insignia displayed on the dial.
A Dive Watch Inspired By The Royal Navy
The HMAF Supermarine is based on Bremont’s modern Supermarine 300m platform, a watch that debuted in 2024 as part of the brand’s renewed collection. Designed as a capable professional dive watch, it combines robust specifications with a distinctive military character.
Its 40 mm stainless steel case is crafted from 904L steel and features a textured matte finish inspired by the hulls of Royal Navy vessels. The same surface treatment extends to the fluted unidirectional bezel and screw-down crown, creating a uniform monochromatic appearance.
The watch is paired with a grey leather strap equipped with a quick-release system and white contrast stitching, reinforcing its utilitarian aesthetic.
Official Royal Navy Insignia On The Dial
The most distinctive element of the HMAF Supermarine is the presence of the official Royal Navy heraldic badge positioned above the 6 o’clock marker. Thanks to Bremont’s official licensing agreement with His Majesty’s Armed Forces, the brand is authorized to display the insignia, making this model a rare example of a civilian watch featuring the emblem on its dial.
The matte charcoal dial follows a highly legible layout, with applied hour markers, sword-shaped hour and minute hands, and a central seconds hand featuring an arrow-shaped tip. A discreet date display sits at 3 o’clock, using a colour-matched date wheel for visual consistency.
Surrounding the dial is a grey rehaut printed with a white minute track, enhancing readability while maintaining the watch’s understated military styling.
Ceramic Bezel And Strong Lume Performance
The dive bezel features a grey ceramic insert with a fully graduated 60-minute scale and a detailed first 15-minute section. For low-light visibility, Bremont equips the hands and hour markers with blue-glowing Super-LumiNova, while the bezel’s luminous marker emits a contrasting green glow.
This dual-colour lume configuration improves orientation in darkness and underwater environments.
Reliable Automatic Movement
Powering the HMAF Supermarine is the Bremont Calibre BB64 automatic movement. Based on the Sellita SW300-1 architecture, the movement operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz) and incorporates a Nivaflex mainspring.
The calibre delivers an upgraded power reserve of approximately 56 hours, ensuring dependable performance whether worn daily or left off the wrist for a weekend.
The solid screw-down caseback features not only the Royal Navy insignia but also the heraldic emblems of the British Army and Royal Air Force, highlighting the broader HMAF partnership.
Part Of A Three-Watch Military Collection
The HMAF Supermarine is accompanied by two additional military-inspired references, the HMAF Altitude 39 Date, dedicated to the Royal Air Force and featuring the RAF insignia on its dial. The HMAF Terra Nova 40.5 Date, inspired by the British Army and distinguished by its California dial layout.
All three watches are available individually and can also be purchased as part of a special presentation box set.

The Bremont HMAF Supermarine is produced in a limited edition of 300 pieces and is now available, priced at € 4,750.
The accompanying HMAF Terra Nova 40.5 Date and HMAF Altitude 39 Date are likewise limited to 300 examples each, with retail prices of € 3,700 and € 5,150 respectively. Bremont also offers a complete three-watch HMAF box set, limited to just 50 pieces.
