Moonphase Debut For Tudor With The New 1926 Luna
Tudor has introduced a new addition to its 1926 collection, bringing a traditional complication to the brand for the first time—the moon phase. The Tudor 1926 Luna blends timeless aesthetics with understated elegance, while also expanding the role of this often-overlooked collection within the brand’s portfolio.

Case and Design
The 1926 Luna is presented in a polished stainless steel case measuring 39 millimeters in diameter and just 10.10 millimeters thick, a size that offers a refined presence while remaining comfortable for everyday wear. The case is topped with a sapphire crystal and closed with a solid steel caseback, while the screw-down crown carries the Tudor logo in relief. Despite its classic appearance, the watch is water-resistant to 100 meters, ensuring practicality alongside its elegant styling.

Dial Variants
The defining feature of the watch is its moon phase display, positioned at six o’clock, which adds a traditional horological touch to the otherwise understated design. A date window at three o’clock provides additional functionality, while maintaining balance across the dial.

The Tudor 1926 Luna is offered in three variations: a black dial accented with gold details, a blue dial paired with silver-toned markers and hands, and a champagne dial enhanced with blackened elements. Each version features a sunray-brushed finish that catches the light with subtle sophistication. The applied markers and leaf-shaped hands, free of luminescent material, further underline the watch’s dedication to classic watchmaking codes.

Movement
Inside the case beats the automatic Calibre T601, which is based on the Sellita SW280-1. This reliable movement operates at a frequency of 4 hertz, incorporates 26 jewels, and delivers a power reserve of 41 hours. Although not an in-house calibre, it is finely adjusted according to Tudor’s standards, achieving a precision of -4 to +6 seconds per day. The movement also reflects Tudor’s focus on durability, with service intervals extended to 10 years.
Bracelet and Price
Completing the watch is a seven-link stainless steel bracelet designed for both comfort and style, secured with a folding clasp. The Tudor 1926 Luna is available now through Tudor boutiques and authorized retailers, with a retail price of € 2,630.
