Montblanc’s Masterpiece Meets Olympic Legacy In New Collection
In celebration of the 100th anniversary of its Meisterstück writing instrument and the 1924 Olympic Games, Montblanc has launched the Meisterstück x Olympic Heritage collection. This collection honours the shared heritage and milestones of Montblanc and the Olympic Games, both of which represent the pinnacle of human achievement through craftsmanship and athleticism.
The Special Edition Meisterstück x Olympic Heritage Paris 1924 features a warm red resin inspired by the official colour of the Paris 1924 Olympic Games. It has a solid Au 585 gold nib engraved with a javelin thrower and an “Olympic Heritage” logo with Olympic rings and a crown of leaves. The lid is engraved with “Olympic Games Paris 1924,” and the Montblanc emblem is set in coral-coloured resin.
The Special Edition Meisterstück x Olympic Heritage Chamonix 1924 commemorates the first Winter Olympics held in Chamonix. It includes three versions: Classique Edition with blue-grey resin, Doué Edition with a platinum-plated lid and resin body, and Solitaire Edition with a platinum-plated lid and engraved body. All versions feature the “Olympic Winter Games Chamonix 1924” engraving and a solid Au 750 gold nib with a ski jumper design.
Accompanying the writing instruments are red and blue inks in square glass bottles and special edition notebooks featuring artwork and typography from the 1924 Olympic Games.
The Meisterstück, introduced in 1924, is renowned for its exceptional craftsmanship and has evolved, maintaining design attributes such as the “4810” engraving on the gold nib, a bold clip, a streamlined shape, and three gold rings.
The Montblanc Meisterstück x Olympic Heritage collection will be available from July 2024 in Montblanc boutiques and online.
