Montblanc ‘SCHREIBERLING’ 1969: A Whimsical Tribute To Storytelling
Known for his meticulously composed visuals and symmetrically structured frames, Wes Anderson has long been celebrated for turning cinema into a stylized art form. His films, though visually stunning, delve far deeper—exploring themes like identity, friendship, and the bittersweet nature of missed opportunities.

Now, Anderson brings his distinctive aesthetic to the world of fine writing with Montblanc. As part of the Montblanc Heritage Collection Rouge et Noir “Baby”, he has designed The SCHREIBERLING—German for “the scribbler.” This charming set is a tribute to the small but mighty “baby” pens of the 1910s and 1920s, celebrated for their compact elegance.

Limited to just 1,969 pieces—marking the filmmaker’s birth year—the set includes a fountain pen, a matching notebook, green ink cartridges, and a ruler, all presented with Anderson’s signature flair. It’s more than a writing instrument; it’s a collector’s piece for storytellers, dreamers, and design enthusiasts alike.
The SCHREIBERLING is now available at Montblanc official stores and authorized retailers for €2,500.
