Montblanc Iced Sea 0 Oxygen Deep 4810: A Closer Look
In April, Montblanc presented the year’s main novelties, including the impressive Iced Sea 0 Oxygen Deep 4810.
The diving watch that meets the ISO 6425 standards has a waterproof rating of 4810m which corresponds to the height of the highest peak in Western Europe and comes with an oxygen-free case that allows you to avoid fogging situations due to temperature variations.
Housed in a robust 43mm by 19.40mm Grade 5 Titanium case, which comes with a satin brushed finish on the surfaces and polished on the bevels, it features a unidirectional bezel with black aluminium insert and a 60-minute scale that illuminates completely in the dark, screw-down crown at 3 o’clock that is carved with the brand’s logo and protected by guards and lastly screw-in 3D laser-engraving case back.
The smoky-blue dial comes with an engraved 3D glacier pattern where we find applied baton hour markers that at the 12-6-9 positions are replaced by Arabic numerals and a framed date window at 3 o’clock, and three centre hands all filled with Super- LumiNova, lastly a railroad minute track alongside the edges.
Inside, shines the Caliber MB 29.29 automatic movement with 198 components based on the Sellita SW300 that also houses many other brands from the Richemont universe, which is COSC-certified, presenting an accuracy of +6/-4 seconds per day, operating at 28,800 Vph and offers up to 5 days of power reserve.
The new Montblanc ref. 133268 comes attached to an integrated black rubber strap with a steel folding clasp that is available in the brand’s official boutiques and authorized retailers for €8,900.
