Mido Simplifies The Multifort 8 With The New One Crown Model
Mido expands its integrated sports watch lineup with the Multifort 8 One Crown, a model that refines the concept introduced by the Multifort 8 Two Crowns earlier in 2025. As the name suggests, the new version adopts a more straightforward configuration with a single crown positioned at 3 o’clock, resulting in a cleaner case profile while retaining the strong geometric identity that defines the collection.

The removal of the internal rotating bezel allows the One Crown model to focus on essential functions, making it a versatile everyday sports watch that still aligns with Mido’s technical heritage.
Compact Stainless Steel Case with Integrated Architecture
The stainless steel case measures 40 mm in diameter, with a lug-to-lug length of 44.86 mm, dimensions made possible by the integrated case and bracelet construction. This compact footprint enhances wearability across a wide range of wrist sizes.

A faceted octagonal bezel frames the dial and reinforces the angular design language used throughout the watch. The same geometric motif appears on the screw-down crown and the exhibition case back, creating visual consistency across the entire case.
The watch is fitted with a sapphire crystal featuring anti-reflective coating on both sides, ensuring legibility in varied lighting conditions. With 100 metres of water resistance, the Multifort 8 One Crown is suitable for daily wear, including swimming and recreational water activities.
Textured Dial with Strong Visual Contrast
The dial design carries over key elements from the Two Crowns model while simplifying the overall layout. The bright blue dial features horizontal texturing, adding depth without overwhelming the design. A framed date window at 3 o’clock integrates cleanly into the dial.

Applied hour markers are slightly oversized for improved legibility, while the tri-faceted hour and minute hands are filled with Super-LumiNova, ensuring visibility in low-light conditions. The minute and seconds scale is positioned on an outer flange, keeping the central dial area uncluttered.
In addition to the blue version, Mido also offers a black dial variant, available on either a steel bracelet or a matching black rubber strap.
Calibre 80 Automatic Movement
Inside the Multifort 8 One Crown is Mido’s Calibre 80, based on the ETA C07.611 (Powermatic 80) architecture. The movement operates at 21,600 vibrations per hour (3Hz), uses 25 jewels, and delivers an extended 80-hour power reserve. Through the sapphire case back, the rotor can be observed, decorated with Côtes de Genève and signed by Mido.

Integrated Bracelet and Strap Options
The Multifort 8 One Crown is delivered on a stainless steel integrated bracelet with a satin finish. It features a quick-release system, allowing for tool-free strap changes. A two-button folding clasp ensures secure fastening.
Mido also offers the watch with a rubber strap option, depending on the dial variant, providing additional versatility for more casual or sporty use.

Pricing and Positioning
The Mido Multifort 8 One Crown is priced at CHF 840. Within this segment, it offers a combination of integrated sports watch design, solid water resistance, sapphire crystal, and an automatic movement with an extended power reserve, positioning it competitively in the affordable luxury category.
