Norwegian independent watchmaker Micromilspec returns with a limited edition release that expands its tactical chronograph lineup. The new Milgraph Sabotage, created in collaboration with materials specialist James Thompson (Black Badger), brings together robust design, functional layout, and a striking visual identity powered by advanced lume technology.
Rugged Titanium Case Built for Field Readiness
At the core of the Milgraph Sabotage is a Grade 5 titanium case with a microblasted finish, offering a stealthy, non-reflective surface suited for professional use. The case measures 42 mm in diameter, 15 mm in height, and 50.30 mm lug-to-lug, striking a balance between substantial wrist presence and wearable proportions. With a 100-meter water resistance rating, the case is engineered for durability in diverse operational environments.
The Milgraph’s QuadGrip bezel, featuring four deep notches, is optimized for ease of use—even with gloves. The elapsed-time bezel scale continues beneath the overhanging bezel, ensuring uninterrupted readability and adding an extra layer of technical refinement.
Designed in a destro configuration (crown on the left), the Milgraph emphasizes ergonomic comfort for right-wrist wearers—often the preference in military applications to avoid obstruction during critical tasks.
Distinctive Dial Layout with Enhanced Visibility
A defining feature of the Sabotage edition is its matte white dial, contrasted by black skeletonized hour and minute hands, as well as orange-tipped indicators for the chronograph and GMT functions. Three sub-dials—each sized according to operational priority—support a clear and functional display. The running seconds hand is finished in black, maintaining balance with the overall layout.
An orange rehaut encircles the dial, carrying a 24-hour GMT scale printed in white. The “Sabotage” name is marked in orange at the 3 o’clock position, harmonizing with the color scheme.
One of the most notable enhancements comes from Black Badger’s involvement: the application of custom-formulated ultramarine X1-grade Super-LumiNova on the dial’s indices and hands. Developed in partnership with RC Tritec, this proprietary lume glows in a vibrant deep blue, ensuring legibility in low-light or nighttime conditions.
Purpose-Driven Complication Set
The Milgraph Sabotage integrates chronograph and caller GMT functions, both powered by the La Joux-Perret L121 movement—a Swiss-made automatic caliber known for its reliability and precise engineering. This column-wheel chronograph operates at 28,800 vph, contains 26 jewels, and delivers a 60-hour power reserve, supporting long-term use without frequent winding.
Multiple Strap Options and Collectible Details
Each of the 75 Milgraph Sabotage units ships on a textured orange rubber strap with a microblasted titanium tang buckle. Optional accessories include a leather strap and a titanium H-link bracelet featuring a butterfly clasp with push-buttons. These options allow the wearer to adapt the watch for different conditions, from tactical to casual use.
Included in the package is a serial-number-matching dog tag crafted from Zirconium and Super-LumiNova, co-designed by Pat Pruitt and Black Badger. These tags are laser-engraved and blowtorch-oxidized, serving as a unique memento of the limited series.
