Meet Unimatic’s New Toolwatch Series: Rugged, Reliable, And Affordable

Unimatic has just presented the Toolwatch Series made up of four new watches that come with a Quartz movement and therefore at very attractive prices.

The new watches that meet the MIL-STD-810 standard and are a combination of a field watch and a dive watch retain many of the characteristics that made them known reliables and capables.

Two of them come with a single time function, while the other two add date and GMT complications.

The watches presents the brand’s usual round brushed stainless steel case, which in the field version (Quattro UT4) is 40mm wide and in the dive version (Uno UT1) 41.50 mm due to its 60-minute countdown bezel. Sharing all other features such as drilled lugs, sapphire glass, fluted crown at 3 o’clock with guards, screwed solid case back and the usual incredible 300m of water resistance.

The matte black dial features Arabic numerals and hands filled with white Super-LumiNova that glows green in the dark and that also gives life to the bezel pip-lume at noon on the dive versions. Lollipop centre seconds hand with an orange tip matching the thin orange ring next to the edges, which, like the rubber case that houses the movement, is part of its protection system. In the GMT time-date versions we can also find an orange arrow at noon that points to an opening that provides us with a second time zone and a date window at 6 o’clock.

Inside, the time-only timepieces come equipped with the Seiko VH31 Quartz movement, while the GMT time-date version is powered by the Ronda 515.24D Quartz movement.

The watches arrive attached to a black fabric strap with a steel pin buckle with prices starting at €350 up to €525.
