Meet The New Bell & Ross BR-03 Green Steel With Sunray Green Dial
Nearly twenty years after the debut of the BR-03 collection, Bell & Ross continues to evolve one of its most recognizable designs with the launch of the new Bell & Ross BR-03 Green Steel. The latest addition to the lineup brings a fresh aesthetic to the iconic square-shaped case through a striking green dial combined with a more elegant and minimalist display layout.
The watch is housed in the familiar 41mm stainless steel case introduced during the 2023 redesign of the BR-03 collection. Measuring just 9.65mm thick, the case combines brushed and polished surfaces, preserving the aviation-inspired character that defines the collection. The signature four functional screws remain positioned at each corner of the bezel, while the sapphire crystal features an anti-reflective coating for improved readability. Water resistance is rated at 100 meters.
The centerpiece of the new model is undoubtedly its dial. Finished in a sunray green tone with a subtle fumé effect that darkens toward the outer edges, the lacquered surface creates changing reflections depending on lighting conditions. The combination of the glossy finish and gradient effect adds depth and sophistication to the overall appearance.
Unlike many previous BR-03 references, this version adopts a cleaner dial arrangement by removing the traditional minute track. Instead, the display focuses on applied Arabic numerals and polished hour markers, giving the watch a more contemporary and refined character while maintaining excellent legibility.
The skeletonized hour and minute hands, along with the applied markers, are filled with white Super-LumiNova X1 that emits a green glow in low-light conditions. A discreet date window is positioned at 4:30, maintaining balance across the dial without disrupting the overall symmetry.
Powering the watch is the automatic BR-CAL.302-1 movement, based on the reliable Sellita SW300 caliber. Operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, the movement delivers approximately 54 hours of power reserve and displays hours, minutes, central seconds, and date functions.
The Bell & Ross BR-03 Green Steel comes paired with a black calfskin leather strap and includes an additional black synthetic fabric strap, both secured by a stainless steel pin buckle.
