Massena LAB And Raúl Pagès Release The Stunning Absinthe

Massena LAB teams up again with the independent watchmaker Raúl Pagès with whom it had already collaborated in 2022 on the launch of the Magraph watch to continue this sequel with the new Absinthe.

And if the Magraph came with a silver-white sectorial dial with small seconds at 6 o’clock inspired by the Bauhaus, the new Absinthe comes with a gradient emerald green dial with applied indices and the same small seconds but now at 9 o’clock.

On the outside, the watch once again wears the same round stainless steel case measuring 38.50mm in diameter and 10mm thick, which comes with a smooth bezel and polished finish, sapphire crystal on both sides and a fluted crown at 3 o’clock.

The beautiful ombré green dial features a vertical brushed finish and comes with applied rhodium-plated hour markers, a dot minute track on the edges, two centre leaf hands, a small seconds at 9 o’clock with a railway track and on the opposite side the circular inscription “Observatory Precision”, and for last the Massena lettering at noon.

Inside now comes the M690 hand-wound movement based on the previous M660 that equipped the Magraph, with 17 jewels that run at 28,800 Vph and offer the same previous 60 hours of power reserve. The movement is decorated with Côtes de Genève finishing with hand-chamfered plates and bridges and Raúl Pagès’ signature on the tortoise calibre’s balance wheel surrounded with Perlage finishing.

The watch is attached to a midnight blue Saffiano leather strap with a steel pin buckle, limited to 99 units and priced at USD 8,675.

Buyers for an additional USD 300 will be able to send their watch to the Horological Society of New York (HSNY) to be tested in the HSNY Chronometer Certification TM Program whose standards exceed ISO3159.
