Louis Erard Unveils Le Régulateur Gravé Bleu: A New Take On A Classic
Louis Erard expands its Le Régulateur Gravé collection with the new Gravé Bleu, a stunning timepiece that builds upon the success of last October’s Gravé Noir. This latest release introduces a deep blue dial with silver engravings, offering a refined aesthetic that enhances the watch’s signature regulator-style display.
The dial features a sandblasted sector design, now finished in blue with silver accents. At its core, a center hand tracks the minutes along a detailed railroad track at the edge of the dial, while two symmetrical registers define the layout. The top subdial at 12 o’clock, adorned with an Arabic numeral 12, marks the hours, and the lower register at 6 o’clock, decorated with a crosshair motif, displays the running seconds. Enhancing the sophisticated look, the rhodium-plated tree-shaped hands add a touch of elegance to the composition.
Encased in polished stainless steel, the watch retains its well-balanced proportions, measuring 39mm in diameter, 12.82mm in thickness, and 45.90mm lug-to-lug. A domed sapphire crystal protects the dial, while a smooth bezel and a fluted crown at 3 o’clock, engraved with the brand’s signature, contribute to the refined execution. The open case back provides a view of the movement, and the watch offers 50 meters of water resistance.
At the heart of the Louis Erard Le Régulateur Gravé Bleu is the Sellita SW266-1 Élaboré-Grade automatic movement. This 31-jewel caliber operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour and delivers a power reserve of up to 38 hours, ensuring reliable performance.
Completing the look, the watch is fitted with a textured calfskin leather strap in light grey, secured by a stainless steel pin buckle. Priced at CHF 2,900 plus tax, the new Gravé Bleu maintains the brand’s tradition of high-quality craftsmanship and distinctive regulator-style timepieces.
