Longines Unveils Limited Edition Majetek Pioneer In Titanium
The Longines Majetek is a 1930s pilot’s watch designed for the Czechoslovak Air Force that was first reintroduced in 2014 and more recently in 2023 which now arrives in Titanium in a limited edition.
As we had mentioned in February last year at the time of its launch, the watch maintains the main features of the original version despite embracing a slightly wider case (+2mm), a crown on the opposite side at 3 o’clock with guards and pencil hands on the dial instead of the previous cathedral ones.
The new Majetek Pioneer Edition comes in a Grade 5 Titanium case with dimensions of 43mm in diameter, 13.30mm in thickness and 51.40mm lug-to-lug distance, featuring a satin-brushed finish, rotating coin-edge bezel attached to a stylus below which can be used to take different measurements, sapphire crystal, fluted crown at 3 o’clock and 100m water resistance.
The anthracite grey dial follows the same configuration as in 2023 with two pencil hands in the centre and applied Arabic numerals all filled with grey Super-LumiNova, a recessed small seconds at 6 o’clock and the brand’s lettering at noon.
The solid case back hides the Sellita 2892A2-based Caliber L893.6 automatic movement operating at 25,200 Vph and offering up to 3 days of power reserve.
The watch is attached to a black fabric strap with a Titanium pin buckle, limited to 1935 units priced at € 5,450.
