Longines Reveals Colorful HydroConquest Commonwealth Games 2026 Edition
Swiss watchmaker Longines has unveiled the new Longines HydroConquest Commonwealth Games 2026 Limited Edition, a special edition created to celebrate the upcoming Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.

Limited to 2,026 pieces in each available size, the new model combines the robust specifications of the modern HydroConquest collection with a vibrant color palette inspired by the official identity of the Glasgow 2026 event.
A Modern HydroConquest With Event-Inspired Details
The watch is based on the latest generation HydroConquest platform, which recently received a refreshed design language aligned with the brand’s GMT models. The new edition is offered in both 39 mm and 42 mm stainless steel cases, each measuring 11.70 mm thick.

Its brushed stainless steel construction maintains the core characteristics expected from a professional dive watch, including 300 meters of water resistance, a screw-down crown, and a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. The unidirectional rotating bezel features a black ceramic insert enhanced by teal-colored markings and a luminescent capsule positioned at 12 o’clock, reinforcing the watch’s sporty character while improving visibility in low-light conditions.
Turning the watch over reveals a solid screw-down caseback engraved with the official Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games logo, accompanied by the inscription “Limited Edition – One of 2026”.
Distinctive Glasgow 2026 Color Scheme
One of the standout elements of the watch is its bold dial execution. Inspired by the official Glasgow 2026 colors — Steel Grey, Turquoise, Pink, and Purple — the dial features a gradient transition from vivid teal tones into deep black.

Additional colorful accents include violet “HydroConquest” text and a pink-tipped central seconds hand, while the date display at 3 o’clock is outlined in white for added contrast. The rhodium-plated hands and applied geometric hour markers are coated with Super-LumiNova, ensuring strong legibility and preserving the functional nature of the HydroConquest despite its expressive and modern design.
Powered By The Longines L888.5 Calibre
Inside the watch is the Longines-exclusive Calibre L888.5 automatic movement, based on the ETA 2892 architecture but upgraded specifically for the brand.

The movement operates at 25,200 vibrations per hour and delivers an impressive 72-hour power reserve. It also incorporates a silicon balance spring, significantly improving resistance to magnetic fields beyond ISO standards.
Strap And Availability
The HydroConquest Commonwealth Games 2026 is paired with a black rubber strap secured by a double-folding clasp equipped with a micro-adjustment system for enhanced comfort and practicality.

The watch will be available from May 2026 with pricing set at € 2,300. Both the 39 mm and 42 mm versions will each be limited to 2,026 examples, directly referencing the year of the Glasgow Commonwealth Games.
