Longines Enhances The Conquest Collection With Sporty Rubber Straps
Longines continues to evolve its Conquest line with the introduction of new rubber strap configurations for the 38mm and 41mm automatic time-and-date models. Known for its blend of sportiness and refinement, the Conquest range adds greater versatility with this latest update, appealing to those who seek comfort and a dynamic aesthetic without compromising on technical performance.

The Conquest series redesigned in 2023, embraces a clean, contemporary design that adapts easily to both professional and casual environments. The new rubber strap versions maintain the collection’s sleek profile while offering an alternative to the traditional stainless steel bracelet.
Crafted in stainless steel, both the 38mm and 41mm cases feature a polished and brushed finish with sharp lines, wide lugs, and integrated crown guards. Each model is equipped with a screw-down crown and water resistance up to 100 meters. At just 10.9mm thick, the case remains relatively slim and well-balanced on the wrist, aided by the ergonomic integration of the rubber strap.

The new rubber straps, available in blue, green, or black to match the dial options, are fitted using stainless steel end-links that maintain the fluidity of the case design. They feature a layered construction with a textured center strip for added detail and are secured by a stainless steel folding clasp with double safety pushers and a built-in micro-adjustment mechanism—ideal for adapting to changes in wrist size throughout the day.
Dial design remains consistent with the recent Conquest editions, showcasing a sunray-brushed finish and a snailed inner ring that enhances visual depth. These dials are protected by a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides. While the new rubber strap versions are offered in the core black, blue, and green colorways, dial variants in silver and champagne continue to be paired exclusively with the steel bracelet for now.

Powering both the 38mm and 41mm models is the Longines calibre L888.5, a proprietary movement developed on the ETA 2892 architecture. It runs at a frequency of 25,200 vibrations per hour (3.5Hz), includes a silicon balance spring for increased magnetic resistance, and delivers a 72-hour power reserve—suitable for modern daily wear.
These new additions to the Conquest line reinforce Longines’ approach to building watches that are adaptable, reliable, and stylish. Priced at €2,200, the rubber strap models are now available through Longines boutiques and authorized retailers.
