Longines Celebrates 70 Years Of The Conquest Collection With 30 New Additions

This year Longines celebrates 70 years of the Conquest collection, which was renewed last year, and which now receives 30 new references, including new colours, new sizes and new bracelet options.

All additions share an automatic mechanical movement and 100m water resistance, the time-date variants come with three centre hands and a date window at 6 o’clock, while the chronograph version comes with with three registers.

Let’s now look at the main new features of the collection:

Conquest 30MM:

It is a new case size measuring 30mm wide by 9.70mm high that should better serve a female audience, which features the same case format with brushed surfaces, a smooth polished bezel, sapphire crystal, a fluted crown flanked by guards and a screwed open case back.

There are five colour options on the dial: green, royal blue and silver, all with a sunburst finish, and two other references with a mother-of-pearl dial with diamond markers to which one also adds a diamond-set bezel.

Inside, it comes equipped with the 4Hz Caliber L592.5 that offers up to 45 hours of power reserve.

They all come attached to a brushed steel H-link bracelet with polished intermediate links and a folding clasp.

Conquest 34MM:

Here the only new features are the new dial and case tones, with three in the steel in shades of pastel blue, pastel green or pink and four new colours in the two-tone cases, which come with an 18k rose gold bezel and crown, in silver, green, blue or purple.

Maintaining the dimensions of 34mm x 10.90mm on the outside and the 3Hz Caliber L888.5 on the inside offers 3 days of power reserve.

In addition to the steel bracelet option, the 34mm size also offers the possibility of coming with a matching rubber strap.

Conquest 38MM:

Like the 30mm size, the new 38mm is also a debut in the collection, featuring the same round steel case measuring 38mm by 10.90mm.

The new size that promises to gather the greatest consensus among audiences of both genders comes in five shades and they are black, blue, green, gold and silver all with a sunray-brushed finish.

Inside, adopting the same automatic movement as the 34mm size we discussed above.

The watches follow in the footsteps of most of their peers by adopting a 2-link steel bracelet.

Conquest Chronograph 42MM:

The Chrono version of the collection once again wears a steel case measuring 42mm in diameter and 14.30mm thick, which now comes with a tachymeter bezel matching the three registers on the dial.

Among the new Panda dials, two feature a white-silvery background with blue or green counters, while the third comes with a yellow-gold dial and black registers, with the first two attached to a steel bracelet and the third to a black rubber strap.

Pumped by Caliber L898.5 which runs 28,800 Vph and offers up to 59h of power reserve.
