Le Régulateur Louis Erard x Vianney Halter II: The “World Tour” Edition

Louis Erard continues its successful series of creative collaborations with independent watchmakers, once again joining forces with Vianney Halter for a new take on the Régulateur. The latest release, titled “World Tour”, expands the concept of the earlier Chapter II model into a rolling series of city-inspired editions.

Case and Design

The watch retains the distinctive case architecture of the Régulateur line, measuring 43 mm in diameter, 10.95 mm in thickness, and 49.60 mm lug-to-lug. Made from stainless steel, the case combines satin-brushed and polished finishes, enhanced by a stepped bezel set with 12 red-gilt rivets. A riveted crown positioned at 2 o’clock underscores the unconventional spirit of the design. The case is water-resistant to 50 meters and fitted with sapphire crystals front and back, both treated with anti-reflective coating.

Dial

For the Worldwide edition, the monochrome silver dial is vertically brushed, paired with rhodium-plated sub-dials for the hours and seconds. The hallmark regulator display is presented with Vianney Halter’s asymmetric twist, tilting the sub-dials off the traditional axis.

The hands maintain continuity with earlier collaborations: heat-blued central minutes and sub-dial hands. The running seconds hand becomes the differentiating element, changing color depending on the edition — blued for the Worldwide model, purple for Hong Kong, red-gilt for Singapore, rhodium for Takamatsu, and more to come as the World Tour progresses. Each edition also carries a unique engraved motto.

Movement

Inside beats the Sellita SW266-1 automatic calibre, already proven in previous Régulateur collaborations. It runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour, provides a 38-hour power reserve, and features an openworked oscillating weight decorated with Louis Erard’s black lacquer emblem.

Strap

The watch is delivered on a dark blue grained calfskin strap with a matching stitching, lined in black calf leather, and secured with a polished steel pin buckle. Thanks to quick-release spring bars, the strap can easily be changed to suit different looks.

Limited Editions and Pricing

The World Tour collection is divided into two main strands. The first is the Worldwide silver-dial edition with a blued seconds hand, produced in a limited run of 178 pieces. The second consists of city-specific editions, each released in very small numbers of 18 to 25 pieces, beginning with Takamatsu, Bangkok, Hong Kong, and Singapore, with further destinations planned in the future. The price for all versions is CHF 4,500 excluding tax.
