The Krayon Anywhere Arborea Métiers D’Art 2024 is a remarkable creation from the Swiss watchmaker, known for producing only around 40 timepieces annually. This new model stands out with its stunning hand-painted dial, inspired by Henri Rousseau’s famous painting *The Virgin Forest at Sunset*.
The dial is crafted through the intricate champlevé enamelling process, featuring 680 small cells that together resemble a vivid stained glass window. Adding to the allure are two sapphire discs at the edges, one clear for the day and another dark with a starry night sky, over which a moving sun tracks sunrise and sunset. This time indication is not fixed to a specific location but can be adjusted based on the latitude and longitude, offering a unique personal touch.
The dial is further enhanced by a 24-hour inner bezel, working seamlessly with luminescent hour and minute hands. A sub-dial at 6 o’clock indicates the day of the month and the months of the year, utilizing two small hands to mark time. Housed in a 950 platinum case with a polished finish, the watch measures 39mm in diameter and 9.50mm thick, with a smooth bezel and rounded lugs. Both the front and back feature sapphire crystal and the case offers water resistance up to 30 meters.
At the heart of this timepiece lies the in-house Calibre C030 movement. This hand-wound mechanical movement boasts an impressive 432 components and 55 jewels, operating at 21,600 Vph and delivering a 72-hour power reserve.
