Junghans Presents The New Meister Chronoscope 27/4223 With A Grey Dial

Junghans has just expanded its Meister Chronoscope collection with a new reference that comes with a light grey dial. 

The Meister Chronoscope is a line of chronographs based on the old Bahaus school and which has existed in the brand since 2011. This new reference 27/4223 reinforces the collection, which now has twelve variants in total. 

The watch, which maintains the entire exterior design, wears a round stainless steel case measuring 40.70mm in diameter and 13.90mm thick, which comes with a fully polished finish, curved straight lugs, smooth thin bezel, domed sapphire crystal, fluted crown with the brand signature at 3 o’clock flanked by two oval pushers, open case back and 50m water resistance. 

The domed light gray dial features a circular brushed effect, maintaining the original layout of three underneath sub-dials at 12-6-9 o’clock, substantiated by a 30-minute counter, a 12-hour register and a running seconds respectively that comes in a darkeer grey tone and a double day-date window at 3 o’clock with a white background. We can also find Dauphine hands filled with luminescent material, applied silver hour markers on the four main cardinal points that in the remaining hours are painted on the dial and finally a minute track also painted. 

Inside, everything is the same, operating the Caliber J880.1 automatic movement based on the ETA Valjoux 7750, which reaches 28,800 Vph and offers up to 2 days of power reserve. 

The new Junghans Meister Chronoscope comes attached to a grey ostrich skin strap matching the dial at the same base price as most of the other references in the collection, which is €2,240.
