Jaeger-LeCoultre Reinforce The Reverso Tribute Collection
This year, Jaeger LeCoultre has invested in reinforcing its Reverso Tribute collection, which pays homage to the first Reverso from 1931. There are seven novelties with different complications.
Reverse Tribute Small Seconds
The least complicated among the novelties comes with a rose gold or stainless steel case measuring 45.6mm x 27.4mm and with a thickness of 7.56mm for the gold variants and 8.5mm for the steel variant.
Among the rose gold variants, there is one that comes with a black sunray dial (Q713257J), another with a silvery sunray dial (Q7132521) and another with a burgundy lacquer dial (Q713256J). While the stainless steel version features the white dial (Q713842J).
All features in common with the traditional dial with applied faceted hour markers and dauphine hands in the same material as the case and a small seconds at 6 o’clock while the other side of the case features a solid surface ideal for engraving.
Inside they come equipped with the 108-part Caliber 822 that offers up to 42 hours of power reserve.
The gold models are offered with two straps provided by the Fagliano collection straps, one in calf leather canvas and the other in calf leather (with the exception of the silver version which comes with a black alligator strap), while the steel version comes with a single calf leather canvas strap.
Prices vary between €9,200 and €20,500 plus taxes for the steel and gold versions respectively.
Reverse Tribute Chronograph
It is a very complex timepiece whose execution includes two-time indicators and a retrograde chronograph display.
There are two versions available, one in stainless steel with a blue dial (Q389848J) and the other in rose gold with a black dial (Q389257J).
Both variants are presented in a 49.4mm x 29.9mm x 11.14mm case.
The main dial features a sunray-brushed finish, a painted minute track and applied facet hour markers and dauphine hands matching the case material. When we turn the case, a skeletonized dial appears with a time indicator, a retrograde 30-minute chronograph at 6 o’clock and blue chronograph hands.
At its heart runs the Caliber 860 manual movement that operates at 28,800 Vph and offers up to 52 hours of power reserve.
Like the Tribute Small Seconds, the watches are supplied with two Fagliano straps, one in calf leather canvas and the other in full calf leather.
Prices range from €20,000 for the steel version to €35,000 for the gold version plus taxes.
Reverso Tribute Duoface Tourbillon
It is the most ingenious of the three new Reversos, as it adds a flying tourbillon and a second-time zone with a day/night indicator to the hours and minutes function.
This exquisite watch, which is housed in a pink gold case measuring 45.5mm x 27.4mm x 9.15mm, features a sunray-brushed silver dial (Q392242J) with the usual applied faceted hour markers and dauphine hands in gold and a tourbillon at 6 o’clock fixed to a single bridge. When we turn the case, in addition to the tourbillon, we can see a reduced round black dial with hour and minute functions and a discreet display above 2 o’clock that indicates day or night through a disc with a painted sky.
The watch is equipped with a 254-part Caliber 847 manual movement and is supplied on a black alligator strap priced at €130,000 plus tax.
