Jack Mason, a renowned American micro-brand watchmaker, proudly celebrates its 10th anniversary with the launch of the new Pursuit Pilot collection. This milestone release features four striking variants—three crafted in stainless steel that join the brand’s permanent lineup and a special edition in Grade 2 Titanium to commemorate the decade-long journey.
The Pursuit Pilot collection embodies the rugged charm of tool watches, showcasing meticulously crafted round cases available in stainless steel or Grade 2 Titanium. Measuring 39mm in diameter, 11.80mm in thickness, and 46mm lug-to-lug, these watches strike the perfect balance between robustness and elegance. A predominantly brushed finish enhances their utilitarian appeal, while sapphire crystal, smooth bezels, and fluted crowns at the 3 o’clock position underscore their premium craftsmanship. The solid case backs, secured by four screws, provide durability and contribute to the impressive 150-meter water resistance.
The dial options for the steel models come in grained textures with sophisticated tones of black, green, or white. These dials feature printed white or black Arabic numerals, complemented by block-ceramic indexes filled with Lumicast X2, offering excellent legibility in low-light conditions. The two sword-style hands also glow green in the dark, while a white or orange lacquered central seconds hand with a tricolor counterweight in blue, white, and red adds a distinctive touch.
The celebratory titanium edition stands out with a black dial featuring raised ceramic numerals and indexes filled with Lumicast X2 in a vintage-inspired beige hue. To mark the 10th anniversary, the numeral at the 10 o’clock position is replaced by a striking Roman numeral “X.” This edition’s sword hands glow green, while the remaining markers emit a captivating blue glow, adding to the watch’s visual allure.
Powering the Pursuit Pilot collection is the robust La Joux-Perret G101 automatic movement. With 24 jewels, a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, and an impressive 68-hour power reserve, this movement ensures reliable timekeeping and superior performance. The solid case backs protect the movement, with the special titanium edition featuring an oversized engraved “X” alongside the inscriptions “Ten Years” and “Special Edition,” reinforcing its status as a collector’s item.
