IWC Unveils Groundbreaking Ceralume Watches With Full Ceramic Luminescence
IWC announces the arrival of Ceralume Watches, it is the first fully luminous ceramic watch, which is not yet available on the market.
Ceralume is the combination of Super-LumiNova and ceramic powder materials that promise to make the watch glow in the dark not only on the dial but also on the outside.
The concept watch was seen circulating on the wrist of the most emblematic brand ambassador Lewis Hamilton on the Monaco Grand Prix set that took place last weekend and the watch chosen was the brand’s Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41r.
In the new Ceralume watch, almost nothing was left out, in addition to the dial and case, Super-LumiNova pigments were also added to the strap, making it also light up blue, with only the crown, two pushers and case back appearing to be left out.
Lastly, the Swiss watch brand claims 24 hours of total luminescence for the new Ceralume watches when they are fully charged.
