IWC Presents Two New Lines Within the Top Gun Collection and Four New Watches
Top Gun Pilot’s Watch Chronograph’s “Woodland” and “Lake Tahoe”
IWC is one of the pioneering watch brands worldwide in the use of ceramic material, and since the 1980s it has been developing and perfecting its techniques, not limited to the ceramic application in the cases but also in terms of components in its movements.
Since 2007 with the introduction of the TOP GUN collection, IWC has been expanding the use of ceramic in its watches, until now they were separated into three distinct lines – Jet Black (black ceramic), Ceratanium (ceramicized titanium) and Mojave Desert ( sand-coloured ceramic) – which are distinguished by their different materials and shades (developed in partnership with Pantone), to which two new lines are now added – Woodland (olive green ceramic) and Lake Tahoe (white ceramic).
To sponsor the debut of the two new lines are two new Top Gun Pilot Chronographs, with the Woodland chronograph presenting a ceramic case and rubber strap with textile inlay in olive green, and crown, pushers and case back in Ceratanium. On the Lake Thoe line, the chronograph on the outside features the same ceramic case and material strap but in a white hue, while the crown and pushers are in stainless steel and the case back in titanium.
On the dial the same layout as the Top Gun Pilot Chronograph Mojave Desert, Arabic hour markers, a day-date window at 3 o’clock and three counters at the positions at 6-9-12 o’clock.
Inside, they are powered by the self-winding movement Caliber 69380 that offers up to 46 hours of power reserve and comes with a soft-iron inner case that protects against magnetic fields.
Both chronographs are limited editions of 1,000 pieces each that can be purchased for a price of $10,700.

Top Gun Pilot’s Watch Chronograph “Ceratanium”
Within the Ceratanium line, there is also the arrival of a new Pilot Watch Chronograph but in 41mm, whose reduced size is only possible thanks to the properties of the material used that allows the moulding of these pieces without loss of quality.
The black-toned dial features a layout similar to 44mm chronographs, with Arabic hour markers, day-date window and counters.
Inside operates the self-winding movement Caliber 69385 that offers up to 46 hours of power reserve and can be seen operating through the sapphire glass of the case back.
The chronograph is offered with a black rubber strap with textile inlay.

Top Gun Big Pilot’s Watch “Jet Black”
The latest IWC novelty is the Big Pilot’s Watch 43 Top Gun, within the Jet Black line, which now comes in a larger size, and which, living up to its name, comes in black tones, with a 43mm case in black zirconium oxide ceramic and titanium case back.
The black dial, which matches the tone of the case, features Arabic hour markers and white hands all filled with lume and the inscriptions “Top Gun” in red at 6 o’clock preceded by “Automatic” in white matching the brand logo tone at 12 o’clock.
Inside, the self-winding movement Caliber 82100 operates, which offers up to 60 hours of power reserve and comes with a soft-iron inner case against magnetic fields.
Like all other additions to the collection, the watch is offered with a rubber strap with textile inlay, here in green.
