IWC Expands the Portofino Collection
IWC has just reinforced its Portofino collection in 34 and 37-mm sizes, now featuring fourteen new variants.
All new Portofinos come with a sunray dial and most come with a calfskin strap in various shades that feature a quick-change strap system. The new small case models appear for the first time with day and night complications displayed through a disk positioned at 6 o’clock on the dial.
IWC Portofino Automatic 34 and Automatic Day & Night 34
Among the five new 34mm variants there are two automatics, both in stainless steel, one features a blue dial and another that adds a diamond-set bezel and a silver-white dial, both watches present a new 5-link stainless steel bracelet.
The other three new Portofino 34mm come with the new day and night complication, one in stainless steel features a silver-white dial, another one also in stainless steel with a diamond-set bezel features a blue dial, and finally, one in gold with a diamond-set bezel and silver-white dial.
Inside, the new Portofino Automatic Day & Night 34 receive the new Caliber 35180 that operates at 28,800 Vph and offers up to 50 hours of power reserve, while the Portofino Automatic 34 maintains the previous Caliber 35100 that offers up to 42 hours of power reserve.

IWC Portofino Automatic 37 and Automatic Moon Phase 37
As for the IWC Portofino 37mm, there are nine new entries. Among the novelties are six automatic models, which only have the date complication, among them are four variants in stainless steel, one features a silver-white dial with gold accents, other a charcoal dial, and another that comes with a diamond-set bezel and a silver-white dial and finally, one with a green dial and which comes with a 5-link stainless steel bracelet.
There are also two variants in gold, both feature a silver-white dial, and one of them adds a diamond-set bezel.
There are also three new Portofinos 37mm that come with a moon phase complication, one in stainless steel features a silver-white dial with gold accents, another in stainless steel with a diamond-set bezel and silver-white dial and finally, one in gold with a diamond-set bezel and silver-white dial.
The new Portofino Automatic 37 and Portofino Automatic Moon Phase 37 models come equipped with the new Calibers 32111 and 32800 respectively, which you can now see through the sapphire case back. Both movements operate at 28,800 Vph and offer up to 120 hours of power reserve, a notable improvement if we take into account the 42 hours offered on the previous models.
