Introducing The Ulysse Nardin Blast Amoureuxpeintre: A Gray Symphony
Ulysse Nardin, in collaboration with renowned designer Vsevolod Sever Cherepanov, has unveiled its latest limited edition creation from the iconic Blast collection: the Amoureuxpeintre. True to the designer’s signature style, this masterpiece embraces a monochromatic aesthetic, showcasing an elegant harmony of gray tones.
The Amoureuxpeintre features a 42mm titanium case with an anthracite PVD coating, enhanced by a sandblasted finish and a smooth bezel. The timepiece’s frosted sapphire crystal, tinted in matte gray, adds an ethereal touch, subtly revealing the skeletonized dial beneath. The case is remarkably slim at just 10.65mm thick, ensuring comfort and wearability. Additional details include a crown at 3 o’clock flanked by guards, an individually numbered plate on the case profile, and an open case back with matte gray sapphire crystal inscribed with “Ulysse Nardin X Amoureuxpeintre,” secured by six screws. Offering a water resistance of up to 50 meters, this watch perfectly blends luxury and functionality.
At the heart of the Blast Amoureuxpeintre lies the in-house Caliber UN-371, a hand-wound mechanical movement comprising 173 components. It incorporates cutting-edge silicon technology for the balance spring, escapement wheel, anchor, and balance wheel. Operating at 21,600 vibrations per hour, this exceptional caliber delivers an impressive four-day power reserve. The iconic X-shaped bridges—a hallmark of the Ulysse Nardin Blast series—are visible through the frosted sapphire dial, adding depth and intrigue to the design.
The watch’s hands, openworked and dagger-shaped, are finished in black and filled with gray Super-LumiNova, ensuring legibility while complementing the overall monochromatic theme. Hour markers are represented by understated dashes on the flange, while the Ulysse Nardin logo at the 12 o’clock position is rendered in sleek black.
Completing the sophisticated look, the Amoureuxpeintre is paired with a gray Alcantara strap, secured by a sandblasted titanium folding clasp with an anthracite PVD coating. Limited to just 29 pieces worldwide, this exclusive timepiece is priced at €33,100, making it a coveted addition for collectors and enthusiasts.
This new release continues Ulysse Nardin’s tradition of blending cutting-edge watchmaking with avant-garde design, underscoring its partnership with Vsevolod Sever Cherepanov as a triumph of modern horological artistry.
