Introducing the TAG Heuer Monaco Purple Dial LE
Let’s go for a new Pitch Watch
TAG Heuer has just unveiled a new limited edition of its most iconic Monaco chronograph, this time featuring a bold purple dial.
And if the news on the market is getting scarce at a time when we are entering the summer and holiday season, the old glories of the brands are very much alive and are saying “Present”.
The new Monaco, with 500 numbered units, comes with a stainless steel case and finishes that alternate between polished and brushed, crown at three o’clock accompanied by two square pushers buttons, sapphire crystal and 100 meters of water resistance.
The gradient purple dial, shifts from a lighter shade in the center to a darker shade as it expands outward, featuring the traditional three-register layout, a 30-minute and 12-hour black square sub-dials and a small seconds accompanied by a date window at 6 o’clock, rhodium-plated hour markers and three central hands filled with Super-LumiNova.
Inside, they are powered by the Heuer 02 automatic movement that operates at 28,800 Vph and offers up to 80 hours of power reserve, which can be observed through the sapphire case back.
The chronograph is offered with a black alligator leather strap and purple interior lining, with a steel folding clasp.
This limited edition will be on sale exclusively in the brand’s official boutiques from this month of July and for a price of €6,800.
