Introducing the Sinn U1 DS Limited Edition
Sinn starts 2021, the year of its 60th anniversary, with the launch of the new U1 DS model in limited edition and promising spring news for the next April 1st.
On top of the new watch, it comes with a grinding dial, which fits perfectly into the 44mm high-strength seawater-resistant German Submarine Steel (yes, you need a little breath to read it all at once) which features properties non-magnetic. The surface of the case as the bezel received TEGIMENT technology which increases the resistance to scratches.
The 1,000 meters of water resistance is certified by DNV-GL in accordance with European diving equipment standards EN 250 / EN 14143.
The other features of the watch are the same as those in the Sinn Diving Watch U1 collection, a 44 mm diameter, 14.7 mm thick case, sapphire glass in the front and a threaded steel case back, screwed-down crown at 4 o’clock, dial and hands are filled with luminescence and date aperture at 3 o’clock. The diver’s bezel comes with a minute ratchet and a luminous key mark.
The Sellita Caliber SW 200-1 automatic movement offers up to 38 hours of power reserve.
As already mentioned, this is a limited edition of 500 pieces, which can be purchased with a wide range of different leather or silicone straps, or with the traditional steel bracelet, starting at a price of € 2,200.
