Introducing the Royal Oak Blue Ceramic
New Pitch Watch alert.
Audemars Piguet has just added a new Royal Oak full ceramic to its collection and for the first time in blue.
The new Royal Oak with four counters that support the perpetual calendar and moon phase complications is based on a 41mm case and integrated ceramic bracelet and is the third of the full ceramic generation, after being introduced in 2017 in black ceramic and two years later white ceramic.
As the inaugural version, its dial follows the monochromatic exterior trend, featuring a blue “Grande Tapisserie” pattern, blue sunray counters, blue inner bezel, white gold applied hour-markers and Royal Oak hands with luminescent coating.
Inside, it is equipped with the Caliber 5134 automatic movement measuring only 4.5mm thick, which translates into a reduced case height of 9.5mm, which operates at 19,800 Vph and offers up to 40 hours of power reserve, all this can be seen through the case back sapphire crystal.
Finally, it should be noted that despite not being a limited edition, it should be a limited production like the previous edition and the price should also not be far from the last iteration.
