The Grande Sonnerie comes in 44.8mm platinum case and 12mm thick, between the lugs at 6 o’clock a slide switch, that allows choosing between two chimes, the petite sonnerie and the grande sonnerie, it comes with an additional option, the silence (no chimes). At 12 o’clock between the lugs the usual engraved diamond, that Patek Philippe uses exclusively in platinum cases (but use to be at 6 o’clock but due to changing the switch, it is not possible). The crown at 3 o’clock comes with a pusher that makes the minute repeater chimes.
Within, this Patek Philippe is equipped with a manual-winding Caliber GS 36-750 PS IRM with 72 hours of power reserve for the movement and 24 hours of power reserve for the sonnerie. The movement is possible to be observed through the sapphire crystal on the caseback it is needless to say how ornate the movement is, where every detail is meticulously worked by hand.
