Parmigiani Fleurier expands its Tonda PF collection with a new interpretation of its openworked sports watch, combining a precious rose gold case and bracelet with a deep Milano Blue treatment. Limited to just 30 pieces, the Tonda PF Skeleton Rose Gold Milano Blue brings together an integrated-bracelet design, an ultra-thin skeletonised movement and a more colourful approach to the traditionally restrained Tonda PF aesthetic.

The watch retains the refined proportions that define the Tonda PF Skeleton, with a 40 mm case measuring just 8.50 mm thick. Its construction combines polished and satin-brushed surfaces, while the finely knurled bezel provides one of the collection’s most recognisable details. The case is completed by Parmigiani Fleurier’s characteristic teardrop-shaped lugs and a 4.30 mm screw-down crown.

Despite its use of rose gold throughout the case and integrated bracelet, the watch maintains a distinctly sporty specification, including 100 metres of water resistance. The bracelet follows the contours of the case and is secured by a folding clasp, creating a continuous transition between the watch head and the wrist.

Skeletonised architecture in Milano Blue

The defining feature of this edition is the skeletonised dial and the colour treatment applied to the movement. The Milano Blue finish introduces a rich, dark blue tone into the openworked architecture, contrasting with the warm colour of the rose gold case and movement components.

Rather than simply placing a blue dial beneath the hands, the colour forms part of the skeletonised construction itself. The bridges feature a combination of sandblasted and satin-finished surfaces, creating different levels of texture and helping distinguish the individual components of the movement.

The open architecture exposes much of the mechanism from the front, with the applied 18k rose gold hour markers positioned above the movement. The skeletonised delta-shaped hands provide the familiar visual signature of the Tonda PF range while allowing the movement to remain the dominant feature of the dial.

A sapphire crystal protects the front of the watch, while a second sapphire crystal in the caseback provides another view of the movement and its finishing.

Manufacture calibre PF777

At the heart of the Tonda PF Skeleton Rose Gold Milano Blue is calibre PF777, Parmigiani Fleurier’s in-house automatic skeletonised movement.

Despite its complex openworked construction, the movement measures only 3.9mm in thickness, contributing to the watch’s overall 8.5mm profile. It operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz) and delivers approximately 60 hours of power reserve.

The movement’s architecture has been skeletonised to reveal its mechanical components from both sides. A particularly prominent element is the 22k rose gold openworked rotor, visible through the sapphire caseback and complementing the precious-metal construction of the watch.

The combination of the blue movement treatment, openworked bridges and rose gold components gives the calibre a strong three-dimensional appearance, with the finishing becoming an important part of the watch’s visual identity.

A limited edition of 30 pieces

The Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda PF Skeleton Rose Gold Milano Blue is produced in an extremely limited run of 30 pieces. It combines the understated proportions of the Tonda PF collection with the technical complexity of an in-house skeleton movement and the visual contrast created by rose gold and Milano Blue.

With its 40mm case, integrated rose gold bracelet, 100-metre water resistance and 60-hour power reserve, the watch retains the practical foundations of a contemporary luxury sports watch, while the PF777 calibre and extensive openworking place the emphasis firmly on traditional high-end mechanical watchmaking.

The Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda PF Skeleton Rose Gold Milano Blue is priced at CHF 97,000.
