This year will definitely be marked by some industry trends and after the great wave of green dials that flooded the market, the other trend that has been gaining more and more weight is that of bronze watches. Undoubtedly, the tone of this material blends with the patina of old watches and transports us to other times, leading many enthusiasts and collectors to want them in their collections.
Oris is not exactly a first-timer in this field, having extended over time its collections bronze, today it introduces for the first time a new model in this material in its ProPilot collection.
The new Big Crown ProPilot Big Date Bronze stands out for its generous 41mm bronze case, which shines more than many other bronze watches giving it a more contemporary look at the expense of the vintage spectrum. Contrasting with the case material, the collection’s usual minimalist dial in black and a green fabric strap with bronze hardware, which match perfectly.
As for the other features, they follow the pattern of the other models in the collection, namely fluted bezel, large serrated crown, domed sapphire crystal, open-through stainless-steel case back, applied white hours markers, and center handset all filled with Super- LumiNova, gilt accents, date window at 3 o’clock and inside In-house movement Caliber 751 (based on Sellita SW 220-1) that offers up to 38 hours of power reserve.
The watch can be found in the brand’s official boutiques and retailers for a price of €1,850.
