Introducing the Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Now in 18K Moonshine Gold
Of course, Omega’s new additions couldn’t miss the legendary Speedmaster Moonwatch, which now comes in two models in 18k Moonshine Gold.
Moonshine Gold is an Omega exclusive that consists of an 18k yellow gold alloy made of gold, silver, copper and palladium, inspired by bright moonlight in a dark blue sky.
In addition to the 18k Moonshine Gold case measuring 42mm in diameter by 13.18mm in thickness, both variants feature a ceramic bezel with a tachymeter scale matching the colour of the dial, box-form sapphire crystal, open-through case back and 50m of water resistance.
The dial features the traditional arrangement of three subdials: a 30 minute counter at 3 o’clock, a 12 hour counter at 6 and a small second at 9. One variant features an 18k Moonshine Gold dial, black bezel and blackened subdials and indexes. While the other features a PVD green coated dial, green bezel and 18k Moonshine Gold hour markers and hands.
The new Speedmaster Moonwatch is powered by the CO-Axial Master Chronometer Caliber 3861 which offers up to 50 hours of power reserve and is METAS certified.
The watch is offered with an 18k Moonshine Gold bracelet or a black rubber strap with lunar surface texture on the back.
