Official timekeeper of Olympic Games, Omega has just announced its latest release, Seamaster Aqua Terra Beijing 2022, to celebrate the Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022 starting next February 4th.
The new Aqua Terra stands out for its white ceramic dial with a frost-finish pattern inspired by the icy scenarios where many of the dramatic sports of these events take place. Complementing the white dial, applied blue hour indexes and hands all filled with Super-LumiNova, in addition to a minute inner ring, date indicator, and applied Omega logo also in blue. Finally, in contrast, the inscription of “Seamaster” in red as well as the numerals 15, 30, 45, and 60 minutes on the inner ring.
On the outside, this celebratory edition features a 41 mm stainless steel case, with a brushed finish alternating with a polished finish of the bezel and shark angles, domed sapphire crystal, and an embossed screw-in solid case-back with the event logo, followed by the inscription “Beijing 2022” and the five Olympic rings. The watch is offered with a three-link stainless steel bracelet which is finished to match the style of the case alternating between brushed side links and polished center links.
Inside operates the Co-Axial Master Chronometer Caliber 8900 which offers up to 60 hours of power reserve and which comes with a silicon balance spring, high resistance to magnetic fields, and which is certified by METAS.
The watch is offered in special distinctive packaging with reference to the Olimpic event with the traditional 5 years warranty and is already available at the brand’s official stores and retailers for € 6,230.
